ISA ang tanggapan ni Leni Robredo sa nakinabang sa halos P84 Billion na  inalis ng mga senador sa pondo ng build-build-build projects ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte  at pera ng mga sundalo.

Sa inilabas na dokumento ni House Appropriation committee chairman Rolando Andaya Jr., dinagdagan ng Senado ng P215 Million ang pondo ng Office of the Vice President.

Binigyan din umano ng mga senador ng P1.7 Billion ang kanilang sariling pondo habang P597 Million naman sa Department of Agriculture (DA); P110 million sa Department of Energy (DoE); P2.5 Billion sa State Universities and Colleges (SUC); P289 sa Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR); P2 Billion sa  Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT); P1.2 Billion sa Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG; P1.3 Billion sa Department of Justice (DoJ); P2.1 Billion sa Department of Labor (DoJ) at P997 million  bilang Assistance to Local Government Units.

“The biggest increase, totaling P26 billion, was realigned to the Department of Public Works and Highways to fund infrastructure projects which were also itemized by the Senate,” ani Andaya.

Pangalawa sa pinakamalaking natanggap na increase aniya ang Department of Health (DoH) na umaabot sa P17 Billion kung saan sa halagang ito, P10 Billion ay inilaan para sa Health Enhancement program at P1 Billion para sa Malasakit Centers.

Inilabas ni Andaya ang nasabing dokumento para itama umano ang alegasyon ni Senate President Vicente Sotto III na tanging ang  Kamara ang gumawa ng mga amendment sa national budget pagkatapos maratipikahan sa plenaryo ang bicameral conference report sa national budget.

“In truth, the Senate made similar adjustments after ratification of the bicam report and increased by P83.9 billion the allocation for their pet programs and projects under various departments and agencies,” ayon pa kay Andaya.

Hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa pinipirmahan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang national budget, halos dalawang linggo pagkatapos i-enroll sa kanyang tanggapan ang national budget.
